The Friends of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum
The George Griswold Frelinghuysen Arboretum is an arboretum located at 353 East Hanover Avenue, Morris Township, New Jersey. It is open daily without charge. It is also the headquarters of the Morris County Parks Commission.
It’s the first publicly owned historic site and you can see this building firsthand. Located in Newburgh, New Jersey, this site is the place where General George Washington made some of the most crucial decisions in forming the new republic.
