Shopping Centers/Malls
The Mall at Short Hills:
Located fifteen minutes East of the hotel, at the intersection of Route 24 and JFK Parkway in Short Hills, The Mall at Short Hills is an oasis of luxury shopping and amenities under one roof. There are five spectacular anchor stores - Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue. These are complemented by 170 specialty stores and restaurants. A Passport to Style VIP Visitor Privileges Savings Booklet and Carry-on Bag are presented complimentary to hotel guests upon presentation of a VIP Voucher Card (you may obtain a VIP card from the hotel concierge) at the Information Center on the lower level of the mall by Macy’s. Out of town guests should also know there is no tax on shoes and clothing in New Jersey!

Chester:
A Revolutionary Period town located 20 minutes West of the hotel on Route 24. A fun place to browse antique shops, crafts and gift stores.
Morristown:
At the center of town sits the Green surrounded by shops and restaurants. This is a walk and shop town where you will see well-known names like The Gap and Godiva, as well as Epstein’s Department Store and unique shops like the American Craft
Gallery and The Shops at 14 Pine. At 45 Market Street is the Morristown Antiques Center with approximately 100 vendors.
Golf
The public golf courses in Morris County do not accept reservations for tee-off times from individuals who are not county residents. Guests wishing to use one of these courses will be accommodated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Pinchbrook, ten minutes away by car, is the course closest to the hotel.
FlandersValley, only twenty-five minutes away, has two 18-hole courses. Therefore, guests are likely to be accommodated more frequently than at Pinchbrook. The courses at Flanders Valley are also considered to be superior. If guests know in advance when they want to play and do not object to a forty-five minute ride, the courses at
RoyceBrook Golf Club, in Somerville, have been highly rated and the club will accept reservations 7 days in advance with a credit card guarantee. It is advisable to call as early as possible. Telephone numbers and directions for all these golf courses are available from the hotel Front Desk or the Concierge.
